Front Page!

Oh my gosh! I'm so excited - this morning, my good friend told me that while on Etsy the other night, she spotted me on the front page! I am so excited and over-the-moon about it - for a long time I've wanted an item or a treasury on the front page, so to have it happen was amazing.

Here's the screencap! Look for Palla, the albino Tlyaci, at the bottom.

Finished - Finnigan the Furious Yeti

June 01, 2010

Is that alliteration or what? Finnigan is such an attention seeker, having him sitting on the desk beside me forces me to glance at him every few minutes. Maybe it's because I don't trust him, though...

Check him out at Hello, Zoe! He'll come home with you for only $45 plus shipping. Please, take him home.. I think he's eying the other plush hungrily now...

Work In Progress

Wasn't quite feeling top-notch tonight, so I decided to hammer out an idea I've had floating around while watching Hell's Kitchen and Iron Chef.

Hopefully he'll be finished and listed in my Etsy shop by tomorrow night/Tuesday morning!

Old Sketch

May 29, 2010

I haven't got any new content tonight, but I figured I'd share an old sketch. This is my beautiful cat named Muffin. She's a big lady and she loves to sleep.. she pretends to be mean, but when you're on her sweet side, ohh is she sweet!

Papercutting

May 28, 2010

Just wanted to share a WIP shot of what is now a pretty much complete work. I was inspired out of the blue one night to give papercutting art another try.. and this was the front panel of a piece I did, done with just white paper and an exacto blade.

Apologies for the poor quality! I want to find it a nicer frame, and perhaps list it on Etsy too.. or hang it on a wall in my future studio, you know :P

New Blog

Posted by Nicole N
Hello, all! I have decided to open a blog for Hello, Zoe to inspire myself to create more! I hope to make many more plush, and maybe try some new art mediums while I'm at it, too. I'm looking forwards to blogging exclusively about my art, I hope it'll improve my skills and professionalism.

Opher, a Regil that I made to keep for myself. Despite the flowers, Opher is a boy!
